AGEING OVEN FOR ALUMINUM EXTRUSIONS The aging furnaces are used in the aluminium profile industry for the elimination of internal stresses of aluminum materials after extrusion and for hardening them. The ovens are custom designed as batch type with high speed ventilation and high efficiency in order to achieve needed hardness demand on the aluminum work pieces. Motion of the batches is done by a ground trolley or a ground conveyor system. The oven door could be an automatic guillotine type or manual hinged door. The whole process is PLC controlled, data logging option is an advantage during the operation. Electricity, liquid or gas fuel is used for heating the ovens. The ageing ovens are CE certificated and conforms to the European Norms.
