Rotary stretch blow molding machine for blowing PET bottles from preforms. Preforms are poured from a container into the feed hopper via a tilting device. From there, the preforms are fed out via an ascending belt with electronically controlled speed and are transported to the blow molding machine in a uniform orientation via a chute and loading star wheel. The shape and size of the preforms are checked and defective preforms are ejected before they are fed to the heating boxes via a mechanical star wheel.
