This plant is currently intact and fully connected.
The footprint is rectangular and measures approximately 9x5 metres
(not including the steam plant, which is in a separate building,
adjacent to the brewery). All brewery pipework is stainless steel with
clamp-type connectors.
The Vessels are all 1,250 litres (except for the glycol tank).
- Hot Liquor Tun with level sight.
- Mash Tun with wedge-wire filter and powered rakes; inlets for
sparge; CIP and Vorlauf.
- Combined Copper / Whirlpool with 2 x outlets; exhaust condenser; CIP
ball.
- Glycol Tank; 2,500 Litres.
- 5 x Cylindro-conical, insulated fermenters with CIP, pressure gauge,
sample outlet, spunding valve, racking and base outlets.
- Side and top-entry access door.
- Bright Beer Tank. Spec. as fermenters, but without the conical
base.
- 2 x Glycol Chillers.
- Two Stage Heat Exchanger (water/glycol) with clamp-type fittings.
- Flow-plate with 16 valves, sampling outlet and drains.
- Control panel for vessel temperature monitoring & control, pump
switching & speed control, CIP control, auxiliary controls, emergency
shut down and more.
- Steam Boiler Plant: Fulton 30J steam generator with water treatment
and blowdown vessel. All on a single skid; diesel tank for boiler
fuel; all pipework, including safety valves and steam A6364722
traps.
- Spring Water Filtration Unit.
- Activated Carbon Water Filter.
- Twin tank, 60 Litre CIP unit, on trolley with pump, pipework and
clamp-type fittings.
- Diatomaceous earth beer filtration unit. Mounted on a trolley with
pump, pipework, clamp-type fittings and control box.
2 x Variable speed pumps for Mash Tun and Copper.
1 x Pump for glycol tank and circulation.
2 x Heavy duty brewery hoses.
