The Continuous Galvanizing Line No. 3, built in 1983 by NKK-Hitachi,
offers a production capacity of 300,000 tons per year, processing low
carbon steel coils with widths ranging from 610 to 1,300 mm and
thicknesses of 0.27 to 2.3 mm. The line operated until March 2019.
This left-hand line includes advanced features such as a high-capacity
furnace, air knife wiping system, and a skin pass mill for superior
surface quality. The line's equipment is designed for maximum coil
weights of 45,500 kg and speeds up to 200 mpm. Its robust
configuration, including multiple bridle rolls, deflector rolls, and
chemical treatment tanks, ensures efficient galvanizing.
The line's modern furnace output reaches up to 50 tons per hour,
making it a high-performance solution for large-scale steel
galvanizing operations.
