Materials to be slit:
• Paper-based / liner-based packaging laminates.
• Board from 80 to 300 g/m².
Unwind section:
A separate between-centers unwinder, type T9, 1500 mm diameter, including:
• Hydraulic cylinder control for lifting parent rolls from the floor.
• Two motors driving the unwinding roll, controlled by an ultrasonic diameter sensor and a tension-control dancer roller.
• Two pneumatic expanding adapters, SVECOM, for 70/76 mm (3") cores.
• Two pneumatic expanding adapters, SVECOM, for 150/152 mm (6") cores (mounted on the pneumatic end adapters).
• Floating edge-correction roller.
• Automatic web guiding system, FIFE DP20, with SE26A photoelectric sensor, ±100 mm correction via electric actuator — for controlling sheet edge or continuous printed line.
• Connecting walkway allowing web threading at floor level while keeping full access to the slitting station.
• All web path rollers are anodized.
• Safety guarding for operator protection.
Slitting section:
A slitting station with individual pneumatic knives and circular counter-knives:

• Shear cut performed against the counter-knives.
• Counter-knife shaft driven by an independent motor; counter-knife shaft is pneumatic.
• Pneumatic knife holders mounted on a beam with a dovetail guide (TIDLAND) and an air supply manifold for individual activation.
• 10 slitting sets, each including: Individual TIDLAND pneumatic knife holder (25 mm width) and double-bevel circular knife Ø 90/60 mm.
• Set of multi-groove counter-knife rings, 5 mm pitch, 50 mm length.

Web separation section:
• A separator roller driven by the slitting motor; angle and curvature fully adjustable.
Lay-on roller:
• Lay-on roller made of anodized ground aluminum or polyurethane (depending on materials).
• Pressure is adjustable and synchronized with winding diameter.
• Roller is removable.
Automatic splicing / transverse cutting system:
• Hydraulically operated pivoting arm, including a transverse knife with linear motion and a backing plate for securing the web onto new cores.
Trim extraction system:
• Trim suction unit with two width-adjustable nozzles.
• Turbine enclosed in a sound-insulated cabinet, conveying trim to a centralized system or container (not included).
Rewinding section:
• Motorized turret (two-position) supporting two rewinding shafts.
• Rewinding shaft drive by an oversized asynchronous motor.
• Hydraulic centering point for the active rewinding roll.
• Two pneumatic expanding shafts Ø76 mm (3"), max load 600 kg each, equipped with full-width rubber strips with individual bladders.
• Two pneumatic expanding shafts Ø152 mm (6"), max load 1000 kg each, also equipped with full-width rubber strips with individual bladders.
Electrical & pneumatic system
• Main asynchronous motor
• Electrical cabinet mounted on the machine side, connected by a 3-meter cable, housing motor drives and PLC
• Main control panel including controls for braking, rewinding, emergency stop, lay-on roller, and auxiliary functions
• 10'' color touchscreen "DIGITAL PILOT", providing:
o Programming and storage of production parameters
o Diagnostics and alarm management
o Display of web tension (unwind & rewind)
o Display of roll diameters (unwind & rewind)
o Length counter with automatic stop at programmed length
o Diameter counters with automatic stop at selected diameter
o Adjustment of tension curves, core diameters, material types
o Storage of up to 500 production recipes
