Function description:
At an interface, the products are transferred from a conveyor belt and fed into the machine system.

The incoming products run into the screw system, where they are separated.

After separation, the sleeve is applied in the sleeving machine. The sleeve application is fully automatic.

When the application is complete, the product is transported to the steam tunnel.

In the steam tunnel, the product and sleeve material shrink until the sleeve has adapted to the contours of the product. After shrinking, the products are blown off in the blow-off tunnel.

At the last station, the camera station, a check is made to ensure that the sleeve is correctly positioned. If the position is correct, the product is discharged onto the customer's conveyor belt. Incorrect products are ejected from the camera station by blown air.

The products are automatically fitted with a sleeve in the sleeving machine. The sleeve is fed into the sleeving machine and temporarily buffered using the sleeve feed.
The sleeve feed rollers pull the sleeve over the mandrel. The mandrel opens the sleeve and pushes it into the cutting position. The rotating blades of the blade plate cut the sleeve to the length specified for the product. The sleeve section is catapulted onto the product by the lower feed rollers. The product and sleeve then continue on the conveyor belt for shrinking.

Different shrink rates can be set in each of the chambers of the steam tunnel. From fixing and preheating to the actual shrinking, the dry steam shrinks the sleeve so that it adapts to the contours of the products.

The heat-resistant modular belt takes over the products at the interface and transports them through the system.
