Working principle of a VSL single-rotor shredder:
The material is loaded by dumping from above into a hopper. A
hydraulic feed pusher pushes the material to be crushed against the
knife rotor, step by step depending on the motor.
The shredding takes place between the rotating knives mounted on the
rotor and a counter knife attached to the machine frame.
After shredding has been completed, the material is transported via a
suction system, an extraction screw or a belt conveyor.
1) The pressure bar pushes the material towards the rotor shaft. When
the power absorbed by the motor increases, the tappet stops; it starts
moving again and moves forward as soon as energy consumption decreases
(step by step).
2) The hydraulic cylinder pusher fixed by cardan shaft advances with
extreme regularity, ensuring high reliability of the crusher
operation.
3) The use of standard knives and concave knives in equal proportion
guarantees our shredders a high grinding capacity, and tooling
savings. Standard knives are reversible up to 8 times, concave knives
up to 4 K5558589 times.
4) In each shredder, the perforations of the screen determine the size
of the shredder. Their sizing
is in any case carried out according to the customer's specific
application.
5) The hydraulic power unit as well as the hydraulic cylinders fixed
by cardan shaft are integrated into the body of the machine, avoiding
any risk of damage.
6) The damping of the transmission by a rubber bumper and the
decoupling of the transmission / engine guarantee an exceptional
service life of the latter.
