Biomass CHP Boiler Plant – 5.4 MW Thermal and 995 kWe Turbine Capacity A lightly operated, complete biomass CHP boiler plant featuring a 9.5 MW bubbling fluidized bed boiler (BFB), designed for wood-based fuels. The plant includes a back-pressure steam turbine and a heat exchanger for hot water production from back-pressure steam. The plant was built by Estonian Filter Solutions, a company highly experienced in steam boiler plant engineering and EPC contracting. The BFB steam boiler was delivered by Vapor Boilers Finland. The steam turbine was manufactured by Triveni Turbines (India), in combination with a generator and controls from ABB.
