TOOLMET GATO GC-G-M-2040 oxy-fuel cutting machine was built in 2020 in
Poland by Toolmet Sp. z o.o. This extremely efficient machine is an
excellent choice for businesses placing emphasis on high accuracy and
repeatability of the produced parts. It enables precise, 4-axis shape
cutting of workpieces made of thick steel sheets. The machining
process is performed fully automatically by means of a reliable gas
torch according to pre-programmed cutting programmes. The work table
with a length of 4000 mm and width of 2000 mm is equipped with a
sectional extraction system with 6 pneumatically controlled sections.
This solution effectively eliminates any contamination generated
during the cutting process, ensuring a high level of safety and great
user comfort. In order to guarantee smooth movements and high
positioning accuracy, a lubrication-free drive system and powerful
servo motors in all linear axes were used. The design made of robust
aluminium alloys, in turn, maintains excellent stability during even
the most intense challenges.
TOOLMET GATO is operated from an advanced CNC controller with an
intuitive interface that enables even the most complex machining
programmes to be created in just a few steps. The machine operator
also has at his disposal CAD/CAM software with NESTING function
designed to optimise material usage by properly arranging 2D shapes on
the workpiece. The machine can also be equipped with a plasma torch
and plasma source in order to significantly extend the machining
capabilities. The TOOLMET GATO GC-G-M-2040 gas cutting machine weighs
3600 kg.
