TEXTIMA industrial sewing machine – class 94
TEXTIMA industrial sewing machine, manufactured by VEB
Spezialnähmaschinenwerk Mühlhausen, a former GDR production. The
manufacturer's plate mentions a class 94 machine, suitable for
professional sewing work and the manufacture of thick materials.
The machine is equipped with a robust industrial frame, a large side
wheel with wooden handle, a belt drive system and a side-mounted
electric motor. It also has several spool holders and a set of
mechanical adjustments for adapting the speed and stitch length.
The visible electric motor carries a nameplate indicating a power of
about 0.55 kW, a rotation speed of 2,800 rpm and a frequency of 50 Hz.
The machine is in general old condition with traces of use, marks,
scratches and some oxidation points on the metal parts. The electrical
cable and some mechanical parts must be checked before use. The
machine is offered with its support/table and accessories visible in
the photos.
