TERMETAL T6MX2-8-750 induction furnace was built in 2004 in Poland. It
is an extremely versatile machine designed for the heat treatment of
metals. The machine is specially designed for the continuous,
crosswise heating of S49 and S60 steel rails. It also enables the
heating of metal charges of various shapes and the execution of other
processes that require high power. Charges are heated by means of
high-frequency current. The AC current flowing through the primary
coil creates an alternating magnetic field around the charge. This
field in turn induces electromagnetic forces in the secondary circuit,
causing the charge to heat up. This solution makes the TERMETAL
T6MX2-8-750 much more efficient and economical than other furnaces
available on the market.
The TERMETAL industrial furnace is distinguished by a number of
high-quality components with high thermal and electrical resistance.
The technical solutions used ensure stable operating parameters, even
temperature distribution, high process repeatability and high energy
efficiency throughout the entire service life. Thanks to the
appropriately selected geometry of the inductors, the device also
enables the heating of charges of various shapes, i.e. bars, profiles,
forgings and other non-standard elements. The compact design offers
easy access for servicing key components. This makes the machine ideal
for use in, among others, rolling and forging lines.
