Scrap Charging Conveyor & Preheater System
The Consteel® Scrap Charging & Preheating System is a continuous EAF
feeding and post-combustion unit designed to convey and preheat scrap
directly into the furnace. Built with a 1,600 mm pan width spanning
approximately 51 meters in total system length, it provides
inverter-controlled scrap delivery speeds up to 5.5 m/min at an
average density of 0.6 t/m³.
