The Coil Preparation Line, built in 1987 by Sumitomo Heavy Industries,
represents a robust solution for processing low-carbon steel with high
accuracy and efficiency. This line delivered reliable performance for
nearly three decades at JFE Steel's Keihin plant before ceasing
production in December 2016.
The equipment includes shearing, welding, straightening, side
trimming, and tension control capabilities, ensuring precise coil
preparation. Designed for a maximum speed of 1,100 mpm, the line
efficiently supports a range of production needs.
