The X-axis is used to feed the grinding wheel in the radial direction
and enables high feed speeds with high positioning accuracy at the
same time.
Z-axis (longitudinal axis):
Travel distance: up to approx. 500 mm
Maximum travel speed: approx. 20,000 mm/min
It takes over the longitudinal movement along the workpiece and allows
efficient longitudinal grinding.
B-axis (grinding head rotation):
Resolution: 0.001° to approx. 0.00005°
The high-resolution B-axis enables precise swivelling of the grinding
head, which allows different grinding operations to be carried out
with the highest angular accuracy.
