This fully automatic machine is designed to collate and overwrap
collations of jars / cartons with
PE-foil. It comprises of a conveyor, the infeed station for single
items or collations, the
overwrapping station and a Shrink Tunnel. The assembly is set up at an
angle of 90°.
Items to be stretch-banded travel into the machine on a 190 mm wide
belt conveyor with
adjustable side guides. As they reach the infeed station, they trigger
a micro switch which raises
a pneumatically operating pusher bar. Another pusher then transfers
the collation through the
curtain of stretch film. - 2 -

The sealing bar lowers, stretches the film around
the pack and performs a weld which holds the
pack firmly together. After the film has been cut,
the pack is pushed on the infeed conveyor of the
subsequent Shrink Tunnel.
Wrapping material is supplied from foil reels which
are mounted on adjustable reel holders.
All operator controls are grouped in a panel at
eye-height. The operating area is enclosed within
Perspex safety guards.
