RICO HGR 310 hydraulic guillotine shears were built in 2013 in
Portugal by Rico Tomás Castro Silva, LDA. The machine, designed for
machining of sheet metal with a maximum length of 3050 mm, offers high
reliability, efficiency and precision. The machining process is
performed by means of high-quality cutting knives with the ability to
adjust the cutting angle according to the thickness of the material.
Constant press force and balance during cutting are ensured in turn by
synchronised movement of the cylinders with the flow of hydraulic
fluid from one cylinder to another. All this is complemented by a
fully welded design, which has undergone a number of technological
operations to minimise deformation and ensure maximum durability. The
HGR 310 guillotine shears weighs 8700 kg.
