PLANTS and SYSTEMS for SHREDDING EPS WASTE (no longer usable
polystyrene expands, polystyrene) – STYRO-CUT®
EPS is a hard plastic material. It is mass-reduced and has good
mechanical properties. In the EPS block of 1 m³ volume, there is
about 98% air in 3-6 million closed cells, which is why EPS works as a
remarkable heat insulator.
The plant was developed for the processing of smaller quantities of
polystyrene, as well as systems for the mass processing of EPS
waste.
Such granules can be used:
in non-contaminated form during the production of new products from
EPS, or as a filling material in the furniture industry
(non-contaminated form)
in slightly contaminated form in the production of less demanding
insulation products (facades) or in concrete A51257643 production
with density reduction in the construction industry
