Cables are cut as standard by two knives penetrating the insulation on the side. The series was significantly improved in terms of safety in 2014 and now features a short feeder for thin cables and a long feeder for thick cables. The change is made in seconds by means of a rotary mechanism. The simplicity in the construction and the construction with two powerful, synchronously running rollers is left. With coarse gearing, even thicker cables are safely fed into the knives and transported further after the cutting process for removal. Blunt knives can be easily and cost-effectively sharpened with a standard grinding machine.
