Aggregation for shipping cartons
This semi-automatic aggregation solution is designed to assign
hand-packed folding boxes to a higher packaging level (shipping
carton).
The objects to be inspected are fed into the shipping carton layer by
layer by an operator. After each layer has been packed, the fully
integrated camera takes a full-surface image from above for multicode
reading. The camera moves fully automatically to the preset packing
height to ensure that the focus distance is always correct.
The product table is ergonomically height-adjustable. Once the defined
number of layers and units has been reached, the aggregation stage is
completed. A label could now be automatically generated by the printer
to be installed to the right of the control box. The industrial label
printer is not included in the scope of delivery.
The control elements and electrical components are housed in a control
box above and behind the aggregation system. This section also
contains a 15-inch touchscreen with a control menu, which can be used
to enter and retrieve settings and assist the operator.
