MITSUBISHI ML3015eX PLUS laser cutting machine was built in 2019 in
Japan by MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC CORPORATION. The machine, distinguished
by the use of the most advanced technology available on the market, is
an excellent choice for precision cutting of sheet metal made of,
among others, steel, aluminium and copper. Workpieces with a maximum
length of 3050 mm and a width of 1565 mm are machined by means of a
reliable head with auto focus, which is powered by a 4.5 kW laser
beam. The laser beam is generated by electrical discharges in a
special gas mixture with a relatively slow flow and in a direction
perpendicular to its axis. Real-time power monitoring, combined with a
constant beam length, ensures the highest cutting quality over the
entire work area and prevents power deviations of more than ± 1%,
which are necessary for machining highly reflective materials.
The entire machining process is fully automatic, thanks to the use of
an automatic pallet exchange system. This system allows workpieces to
be loaded and unloaded simultaneously during cutting, thus increasing
production efficiency and reducing machine downtime to a minimum. All
this is complemented by an advanced CNC control with a touchscreen.
The ML3015EX(S2)-45CF-R laser is offered with an extensive range of
equipment, consisting of, among others, a reliable Cross-Flow type
laser resonator with transverse laser gas flow and a dust collector.
