Originally commissioned in the 1980s, the Tandem Cold Mill at JFE
Steel's Keihin plant undegone a significant modernization in 2007 to
meet high standards. Upgraded with a state-of-the-art pickling line
and carrousel tension reel, the 5-stand PLTCM integrates advanced
technologies from industry leaders Mitsubishi, Hitachi, and IHI,
enhancing the system’s reliability, productivity, and quality
control.
