KELCH KALI-tec A tool presetter built in Germany in 2004 is a
high-tech device for accurate measuring, presetting and simultaneous
tool shrinking. The state-of-the-art KELCH tool presetter with
integrated induction coil is offered with equipment that includes e.g.
the electronic measuring system with intelligent image processing
KELCH EasyVision and the KELCH Easy Webset computer software for tool
measurement and inspection.
The tool length is determined by the setting adapters before the chuck
heating phase. The KALI-tec A tool measuring and presetting machine
then automatically sets the tool exactly to the target length during
the chuck opening phase by heating, while for more complex measuring
tasks or tools made of high-speed steel the KELCH i-tec shrink-fit
device shrinks the tool to the target length using intelligent
calculations and pre-positioning of the setting pins.
