The track-controlled JAFO - FYN 50 NB NC vertical milling machine is
designed for milling work on parts weighing up to 700 kg, including
the clamping device.
Consoles with table are equipped with a hydraulic counterweight. The
well-sized guideways for the console on the stand chest and the
guideways of the table are hardened. All counter guides are covered
with "TURCITE" plastic and always remain in contact with the
corresponding guides along their entire length. (no overflow).
The vertical milling spindle, which can be swivelled in one plane, is
attached to the transversely adjustable crossbeam.
The milling spindle is driven by a three-phase motor with 5.5 kW. The
available 16 speed levels in the range from 56 to 1800 rpm are
switched by means of two levers.
The cross beam with the vertical milling head forms a unit. The
machine has three separate feed drives with DC motors with permanent
magnets. The transmission of the drive from the motors to the
preloaded ball screws is carried out via timing belts. The spindle
drive is equipped with an automatic lubrication system for the
gearboxes.
A separate, automatic pump with dosing system ensures the lubrication
of the guideways.
The Heidenhain control is installed in the swivel control panel, the
electrical control units are located in the control cabinet attached
to the machine stand.
The milling spindle is equipped with a hydromechanical tool clamping
system.
An electronic handwheel is used for manual adjustment. The
free-standing hydraulic unit next to the machine supplies pressurized
oil to the hydraulic counterweight of the console and the tool
clamp.
