INTERMAC PRIMUS 184 3D waterjet cutting machine was built in 2022 in
Italy. This extremely powerful machine is designed for precise 3D
machining of any type of glass. The process is performed by a 5-axis
cutting head, which offers unlimited machining capabilities. It
allows, among others, the cutting of complex patterns and the cutting
of holes of any size with extreme ease.
In order to guarantee excellent stability during even the most
intensive challenges, the machine design is made of stress-relieved
stainless steel. The movement of the X and Y axes is performed on
hardened and ground tooth guides of high precision. On the other hand,
the Z-axis moves via a prismatic recirculating ball screw. All the
table’s travel components are protected by leak-proof covers.
The offered PRIMUS 184 WaterJet also features an extensive equipment,
which includes e.g. intuitive CAD/CAM software, a high-pressure pump,
light curtains and many advanced systems for production optimisation.
The total weight of the machine is 3800 kg.
