The Continuous Galvanizing Line No. 2, built in 1985 and featuring
equipment from IHI, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, and Daido-EFCO,
delivers high-quality galvanized steel for various applications. With
a line length of approximately 228 meters and a production capacity of
144,000 tons per year, it efficiently processes low-carbon steel coils
with widths ranging from 610 to 1,220 mm and thicknesses of 0.15 to
0.8 mm. Production ceased in December 2016.
Equipped with a high-capacity furnace and air knife wiping system for
coating control. The skin pass mill adds superior surface quality,
while the tension reel provides consistent coil handling.
