The X-MET8000 handheld XRF devices offer high performance for the reliable testing of materials and chemical compositions: fast, precise analysis for fast sorting (metals, polymers, wood, solutions, soil, ores, minerals, etc.). The X-MET is practical, robust and easy to use, for results you can rely on.

The X-MET is perfect for the analysis of light elements (Mg, Al, Si, P, S, Cl). It offers the lowest detection thresholds with laboratory-quality results in seconds, day after day.

Test a wide range of materials with the versatile fundamental parameter (FP) method and empirical calibrations (traceable to certified reference materials) where the highest precision and accuracy are required.

The intuitive, icon-based user interface requires minimal operator instruction.

Excellent ergonomics
Lightweight (only 1.5 kg), compact, ergonmomic. You can use the X-MET for a long period of time without fatigue.

Complies with IP54 (equivalent to NEMA 3), splash and dust resistant. The X-MET is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.

Tested to H4458384 MIL-STD-810G military grade standard for robustness. It also comes with a 3-year warranty.

Its optional radiation shield prevents potentially costly detector repairs that can be caused by measurements of rough surfaces.
