AGICOM recycling machine trade: Used eddy current separator Eddy Current from Goudsmit. The Eddy Current non-ferrous separator is intended for the separation and recovery of non-ferromagnetic metals (e.g. aluminium and copper) from non-adherent material streams. The separation process of the Eddy Current non-ferrous separator is based on the so-called "eddy current principle". When electrically conductive materials are exposed to a rapidly changing magnetic field, current is induced. Such eddy currents create a magnetic field that is opposed to the changing magnetic field of the magnetic roller (the output magnet). Electrically conductive particles passed over such a magnetic roller are therefore repelled by the changing magnetic field.
