Industrial leather/material skiving machine manufactured by Fortuna
Spezialmaschinen GmbH, Germany, model NG 6. Designed for controlled
thinning/skiving of material edges, typically leather and similar
flexible materials used in automotive trim, upholstery and related
manufacturing. Machine is equipped with a Fortuna Skive Control
digital operator interface, adjustable skiving head, Mitutoyo digital
measuring indicator, grinding/knife adjustment controls and integrated
extraction/drive equipment. The rear interface panel provides
Ethernet, USB and serial COM connections.
Two separate foot pedals are included for machine operation/control.
The unit is mounted on an industrial cabinet-style workstation and is
currently secured to a wooden pallet for handling. Operational
condition has not been tested or verified.
