Heavy-duty electrically driven vertical capstan winch designed for hauling and tensioning ropes, net lines and other marine equipment. The unit is equipped with a vertical warping head, reduction gearbox, electric motor and welded steel base.

The winch is offered as a restoration project in poor used condition. Extensive corrosion, deteriorated paint and weathering are visible across the capstan head, gearbox housing, motor mounting area and base. Structural steel around the support and base shows advanced corrosion and apparent perforation. Electrical wiring and controls are aged and disconnected. The support structure, gearbox, bearings and electrical system require inspection and refurbishment before operation.
