CK 50 CNC turning center was built in 2022. This state-of-the-art,
extremely efficient machine is used in both unit and series
production. Workpieces with a maximum diameter of 570 mm and a length
of 500 mm are machined by means of a reliable spindle and cutting
tools taken from a 12-position turret. The spindle, driven by a
high-powered motor reaches a speed of 4200 rpm and moves in two X,Z
axes with feeds of 270 mm and 610 mm respectively. The hydraulic
tailstock, in turn, ensures precise positioning and support of the
workpiece during the turning process.
The CNC CK50 lathe has an inclined bed, which increases the stability
of the design through better distribution of loads during machining.
This solution reduces the risk of vibration and oscillation, thus
increasing turning accuracy and giving the ability to perform more
complex operations. It also makes it easier to evacuate the chips from
the work area, as they flow down under the influence of gravity. All
this is complemented by an intuitive FANUC CNC control with access to
many advanced functions. The total weight of the machine is 3400
kg.
