ARISA S-2-400-260-FD mechanical press was built in 2000 in Spain by
Arisa S.A. (now Nidec Press & Automation Co. (NP&A)). The machine on
offer is an excellent choice for series production of components used
in the broadly defined automotive or machinery industry. It enables
precise punching and stamping of metal parts. All these machining
processes are performed with a high press force of up to 400 tonnes,
which, combined with a highly dynamic slider, guarantees the best
machining results.
The ARISA S-2-400-260-FD features a robust, stress-relieved gantry
design with an open side wall. This design maintains high rigidity,
stable parameters and repeatability during even the most intensive
operations with high press force. It is distinguished by the use of
two connecting rods, a flywheel drive and an eccentric pinion gear.
This solution ensures even torque transmission and smooth and precise
control of the slider movement. The slider, on the other hand, is
guided at eight points by roller guides, which guarantee the
achievement of the highest quality workpieces under even the heaviest
loads.
The machine is also very versatile and, in addition to its standard
purpose, can also be used as a transfer press (after the use of
grippers and conveyors) or as a progressive press (after the use of a
decoiler and control system).
