Flushing system
The heart of the PT series: Two S-shaped flushing fields work inside
the machine. Thanks to the consistent flow optimisation and the
special nozzle geometry, they ensure that the water is distributed
over the entire area. And thus for first-class rinsing results –
with a rinsing water volume of 2.2 litres per wash cycle. Attention
has been paid to quality down to the last detail: robust stainless
steel axles guarantee the best turning characteristics and contribute
to the high reliability of the PT-XL.
Variable flush pressure adjustment
Every Winterhalter PT-XL has variable water pressure regulation on
board as standard: VarioPower adapts the washing pressure exactly to
the respective washware and degree of soiling. In this way, heavy
soiling is reliably dissolved, light and sensitive washware is handled
gently and held securely in position.
Wastewater heat recovery
A clear advantage for the PT series: EnergyLight wastewater heat
recovery is integrated as standard. The heat exchanger uses the energy
of the wastewater to heat the cold inlet water. The advantages: The
machine heats up faster between wash cycles, resources are conserved
and energy costs are saved by up to 10%.
Exhaust air heat recovery
The Winterhalter PT-XL Energy Plus includes exhaust air heat recovery.
In contrast to the standard wastewater heat recovery, an exhaust air
heat exchanger is also used. It uses the energy of the warm steam

into the room. And up to 15% of energy costs are saved per wash
