9912024 Wartsila 3.9 MW/50Hz Gas Generating Set 12V34SG with CHP
Auxiliaries
This power plant was built by Wärtsilä at the end of 2010 and
commissioned in 2011 as a turnkey project, equipped with a heat
recovery system for 10 bar steam production. The plant operates on
standard natural gas supplied via a local pipeline.
It was in operation until 2021, accumulating a total of 43,767 running
hours before being shut down. The complete installation includes a
step-up transformer, lube oil system, control panels, synchronizer
panel, UPS systems, operator monitors, MCC, start-up system, air
compressors, HRCS for 10 bar steam, exhaust system, 6 kV vacuum
breaker with synchronization, as well as all manuals and technical
drawings. The plant remains installed, with electrical power still
connected to all devices.
All scheduled maintenance was performed by Wärtsilä Service, with
the last major 40,000-hour service completed just 3,000 hours before
shutdown in 2021. The unit features the modern Wärtsilä UNIC engine
control system, and all PLCs are Siemens S7-series.
