SMG DS 315-1500/1300 CNC hydraulic press was manufactured in 1984 in
Germany. The machine, consisting of two interconnected stations, is
used for pressing metal workpieces in manual, semi-automatic and
automatic mode with a pressing force of up to 315 tonnes. All the
machine’s machining parameters are set using a CNC control with a
full-colour, touchscreen display.
The press is equipped with a hydraulic and pneumatic sheet metal
feeder, servo drives for feed rollers to set a very precise stroke of
up to 0.1 mm, safety cages and workpiece feed and drop control
sensors. The SMG 315 T machine underwent a complete overhaul in 2007,
during which components such as pumps and safety installations were
replaced.
