CHP Power Plant 800 kWe with 2 × MWM TCG 2016V08 Gas Gensets
Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant with 800 kWe / 400 V / 50 Hz
output, designed to operate on natural gas or biogas. The plant was
originally delivered by MWM in 2011 and remained in operation until
2021. It has low operating hours and is in good technical condition.
Thermal energy is recovered as hot water at 90°C, currently utilized
for district heating. Due to limited biogas availability, the plant
typically ran at 30–40% load and not in continuous 24/7
operation.
The facility includes a complete gas treatment and mixing system to
handle landfill gas with a methane content of 40–55% CH₄.
The power generators are housed in two soundproof containers, while
the TEAM Evo MWM power plant control system, electrical switchgear,
and control cabinets are installed in a separate control room. The
heat recovery system is installed adjacent to the genset containers.
Both gensets are equipped with separate radiator cooling systems for
engine cooling in case of no heat demand.
