RE digital refractometers are ideal for measuring the refractive index, Brix, and concentration of aqueous solutions, such as glycerol, propylene glycol, and acetone.
They determine the refractive index by a method based on total reflection, which allows for accurate measurement even for cloudy or dark samples.
These refractometers are equipped with built-in and compact Peltier thermostats for temperature control; No water bath is required. They require small sample volumes (0.2 mL) and are easily calibrated with water or certified standard solutions.
