Glass Bottle Filling Line, 3000 bph, with Markl Bavaria Counter
Pressure Filler
This complete bottling line was delivered by the German manufacturer
Markl Brauereimaschinen in 2015 and is still in operation. The line
consists of a semi-automatic bottle off-loading system, where new
bottles are lifted layer-by-layer from pallets onto the feeding table.
It also includes a VELA CW 30 linear labelling machine for
self-adhesive, single roll-fed labels.
The filling system is a Markl Bavaria type 12/3 VKL 12
counter-pressure filler equipped with 12 filling valves, a single air
pre-evacuation system with CO₂, a rotating filler, and a 3-head
crown capper. The highly efficient pre-evacuation vacuum is vented
directly from the center of the bottles. Pressurizing CO₂ gas is
introduced at the bottom of the bottle—precisely where the beverage
flows smoothly into the container. The CO₂ cushion acts as a
protective barrier, preventing oxygen absorption at the beverage
surface during filling. The low oxygen content achieved through
pre-evacuation helps preserve the beverage’s original taste, while
the single pre-evacuation system reduces CO₂ consumption.
Additionally, the filler is equipped with a high-pressure water jet
system that creates foam in the beer before the bottle is sealed. Line
has a semiautomatic 24-bottle lifting system for filled bottles into
carton boxes and then automatic box tape closing system.
