Areas of application & details:
Universal dividing head Hommel 349 for precise rotary and partial
machining, ideally suited for conventional milling machines, tool
milling machines (e.g. Deckel FP1, FP2, FP3, Maho, Aciera, Huron) and
demanding fixture construction. Includes original Forkardt 3-jaw chuck
408429 (size 160mm) and five sets of interchangeable jaws for maximum
clamping flexibility. The original Hommel 349 tailstock and the
height-matching centering block with fixed tip enable the
deflection-free machining of long shafts between the tips. The solid
base plate with T-slots ensures bombproof mounting on the machine
table. Perfectly suited for the production of bolt circles, grooves,
gears (gear milling), spiral grooves, twist milling, shaft machining
and polygons (square, hexagon). Ideal for CNC preparation, toolmaker
training, prototype construction and repair. Precise indexing via
backlash-free worm gear (gear ratio 1:40), stable industrial design
