The ProMinent CDLb 6 is a compact and powerful chlorine dioxide
production and dosing plant manufactured by ProMinent GmbH in
Heidelberg, Germany. It is designed for safe and efficient
disinfection and is used in numerous areas of water treatment –
especially in the food and beverage industry (e.g. dairies), in
process water systems and in cooling circuits.
The system works according to the acid-chlorite process in batch
operation and produces a stable buffered chlorine dioxide solution
with high concentration accuracy. The M5810867 reaction of sodium
chlorite and hydrochloric acid takes place in a closed reaction unit,
which produces no gaseous chlorine dioxide emissions and ensures a
high safety standard. The generation output is 6 grams per hour,
making the system ideal for applications with medium disinfection
needs.
