Two-phase decanters, also known as sewage decanters, are used for the continuous separation of solids from liquids with a high solid content. Due to the high speed of the drum, the solid particles settle on the drum wall and are continuously transported by the built-in conveyor screw to the solid discharge. The almost solid-free, clarified liquid leaves the separation space via openings at the opposite end of the drum.
