Description: Premium German designed and built heavy-duty, industrial,
single-shaft shredder. Used for the size-reduction, destruction of
confidential documents and materials, such as identification card and
passports.
Principle of Operation: Fully self-contained size-reduction solution,
material is loaded, via the gas strut assisted door, at the top of the
shredder. Material is shredded by a series of cutting tools, mounted
to a rotor which passes through a static knife until small enough to
pass through a perforated screen and discharged at the base of the
machine. The shredder has both pneumatic pusher ram (introducing
material to the rotor) and H²0 misting (to minimise fine dust).
