Description
SPECIFICATIONS
Valve bag filling, manufacturer Bates, year of construction 1992.
The system is designed for the bagging of dry, fine powder in valve
bags, whose valve width V = 135 mm (clear width).
Since all parts in contact with the product are made of stainless
steel, this system is suitable for both the food and non-food
sectors.
(From a purely technical point of view, ATEX is also fulfilled – but
there is NO longer any guarantee for this.)
Depending on the product and its characteristics, the production
capacity of 25.0 kg bags is approx. 140 – 180 bags/hour.
Of course, the system can also process 50.0 kg bags.
The offered installation consists of several components:
1. 60FFED fully automatic filling machine
2. SD automatic bag clip-on machine
3. VS500 thermal external valve closure system incl. bag removal
tape
4. Bag depalletizer, mounted at the end of the bag removal belt
5. Control cabinet incl. PLC control Siemens S7-313C and HMI
Proface.
6. Security fence with 2 doors
The system was originally placed on a stage especially for the
customer. We will shorten all parts by approx. 400 mm so that the
overall installation height is lower and almost all components
(including empty bag magazines) are accessible from the ground
upright.
PROJECTING
In order to properly revitalize the plant, the following components
will be replaced:
• Approx. 50% of the safety fence will be replaced by new elements,
including the emergency stop stop switch
• New SMC air supply and new emergency stop safety solenoid valve
(incl. blow-off)
• New SMC valve terminal for the filling machine
• New SMC valve terminal for the bag clip-on machine
• New SMC valve terminal for the external valve closure system
• All pneumatic cylinders, hose couplings and hoses
• All electrical cables
• (Almost) All sensors and position switches of the pneumatic
cylinders
• (Almost) All ball bearings and linear bearings (bushings)
• All timing belts
• All gaskets and rubber sleeves (selectable black or white)
• The ventilation plate
• Ebro DN40 ventilation flap incl. actuator
• Ebro DN65 vent flap incl. actuator
• Ebro DN300 product flap incl. E4453254 actuator and position
switch
• PVC tape of the bag removal belt
Mechanical parts are restored and repaired and, on request,
powder-coated or painted (please mention RAL colour).
Due to the fact that in this case all parts have to be dismantled,
cleaned, blasted, powder-coated/painted, reworked, etc., the
additional costs are estimated at an additional 15,000 euros net.
The steel structure and the electric motors are excluded from the
general overhaul; The engines have been functionally tested and the
steel construction is excellent.
Incidentally, not much has changed in the design of the machines for
decades.
After the general overhaul, the system is set up in the workshop,
connected and – as far as this is possible without the product –
adjusted (ventilation, times, speeds, ...).
Operation via the Proface HMI is optionally available in German or
English.
Space requirement approx. 7.0 x 5.0 metres, height approx. 3.5 metres
(up to siloflange or similar).
