Water Filling Line BARDI 800 bph in 5-Gallon (18.9 L) PET for Still
Water
The complete filling line was manufactured in 2000 by the Italian
company BARDI. It remains installed and operational and can be
demonstrated under power. The system is a monoblock unit consisting of
a cap removal device, bottle washer, volumetric filler and capper. In
addition, delivery includes a Semi-automatic pallet wrapping machine.
Bottles are supplied pre-labelled by the packaging manufacturer. Empty
bottles are placed manually on feeding conveyor and full bottles are
palletized manually. Delivery includes in addition to monoblock also
1000 liter treated water tank with pump and hot water plate heat
exchanger and a roller conveyor for in feeding empty bottles
The bottle washer operates in four stages:
1. Rinsing with cold water
2. Washing with hot water and alkaline detergent
3. Disinfection with hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂)
4. Final rinsing with cold water
The interior of the machine is maintained under slight positive
pressure with HEPA-filtered air to ensure hygienic conditions. Bottles
are conveyed inverted, four at a time, and held by neck grippers.
Washing media are sprayed through rotating nozzles from both the top
and bottom as bottles move through the washer.
The filler is a volumetric in-line pressure filling system equipped
with four filling nozzles. Capping is performed by an automatic
single-head push-type capper. The machine includes a built-in CIP
(Clean-In-Place) system to maintain a high level of hygiene. All
operations are controlled via an OMRON PLC with a colour touch-screen
interface. The equipment has been regularly maintained and remains in
good operating condition.
