Areva Teleperm XS Control Cabinet
Standard body technology
For the construction of Teleperm XS systems,
Control cabinets of type SC 9422 (2200 x 900 x 400 mm deep),
protection class IP30, are used.
The cabinet is equipped with cable interceptors with umbrella rail.
The cabinet is designed for seismic loads.
Cable entry and power supply is generally done from below.
In the standard cabinet, the subracks are mounted in the middle area.
To the left and right of this are areas for mounting cabinet
connection elements and transceivers.
Terminals are used to connect peripheral cables.
Other connection technologies such as Maxi-Termi-Point are also
possible.
Field cables are to be shielded with wires twisted in pairs.
Buses are implemented inside a cabinet via conventional cables,
outside the cabinet via fiber optics.
Teleperm XS is suitable for systems with surface earthing as well as
for systems with central earthing (ZEP).
Carrier
Depending on the task, different configurations of subracks are used.
In the basic version, the subrack has a continuous rear wall bus and
offers 21 slots.
If large amounts of signal need to be acquired, expansion subracks can
be connected.
Variants such as:
- Split subracks with two smaller, independent computers
(10 slots each, each with its own fans and power supply)
- Mixing configurations such as the compact summary of a computer with
the associated signal conditioning assemblies
