AEROTERM UV coating line was built in 2015 in the Czech Republic by
AEROTERM a.s. The line was only used once for testing and is like
new.
The line is used for the automatic UV coating of flat components made
of wood or metal. The process is performed continuously, without the
need for manual handling of the workpieces. Transport between the
individual stages is performed using a conveyor system.
The system consists of:
– loading conveyor belt
– BSA 900uvkpa automatic spraying machine
– ULTRATERM UV770/240two-kpa UV dryer
– control system
– coating application system
UV coating is carried out in the AEROTERM BSA 900uvkpa automatic
spraying machine. The unit is equipped with two spray arms, each with
two spray guns. The spray guns are designed for applying solvent-free,
non-flammable UV varnishes and paints. Their position can be adjusted
according to the dimensions of the component being coated. An optical
sensor automatically controls the operation of the spray guns, taking
into account the length of the workpiece and the conveyor speed.
The components pass through a ventilated spray booth on a two-section
conveyor belt with continuously adjustable speed. Excess coating is
collected in containers and can be reused. Contaminants generated
during the coating process are removed by an extraction system.
After the coating has been applied, the components enter the AEROTERM
ULTRATERM UV770/240two-kpa UV dryer, equipped with six UV lamps with a
power of 120 W/cm each. The unit enables rapid curing of the coating
using ultraviolet radiation. The cured coating provides suitable
mechanical properties and resistance to external factors.
The AEROTERM UV coating line is also equipped with an intuitive
control system and a coating application system. The solutions used
form a complete UV coating line designed for both small and large
industrial plants.
