French Peugeot model Légère from 1913.
In 1910 Peugeot comes out with the model Légère, this is a 330cc
V-twin that looked very nice and was very reliable. This was a sales
success for Peugeot. Due to the 2 cylinder and small capacity of
330cc, it was very easy to start and very easy to handle. This engine
was good for a top speed of 60km/h.
In 1913 the stroke was increased from 70 to 80mm and so they obtained
a 380cc. Recognizable by the 10 cooling fins instead of 8 and the
horizontal placement of the spark plugs. This 380cc engine was now
good for 70km/h. This year of construction was also the last year of
the S6324454 round tank between the pipes.
This motorcycle is a beautiful original bike that has not yet been
messed up or restored, straight from the shed. Very nice basis for a
technical restoration. The engine is loose and still has good
compression.
