This electronic detector accurately locates the position of live
cables, wall profiles and beams. The user is informed via a precise
LCD bar display, which registers even very small changes in position
and movement of the device. This can prevent drilling errors and
expensive repairs.
In plaster wall constructions, stable points for hanging objects and
areas without load-bearing structures (e.g. for penetrations) can be
easily determined. The permanent voltage warning protects against
unshielded, live lines during drilling. The housing of the detector is
largely made of recycled plastic and thus makes a valuable
contribution to sustainability.
