Manufacturer's warranty:
Years 1 to 5 (Smart Warranty): Full material warranty including
short-term replacement service and coverage of freight costs within
the EU.
Years 6 to 10 (Smart Warranty plus): Since the device has an output of
less than 25 kW, the free extension takes effect from the 6th year of
operation. From the 6th year onwards, KOSTAL continues to cover the
repair costs, but from then on you will have to bear the pure
replacement and freight costs yourself.
Requirements for activation
Deadline: The activation of the free Smart Warranty must be made
within the first 6 months after initial commissioning via an online
user account in the KOSTAL Solar Webshop. Without this registration,
only the statutory minimum warranty of 5 years applies.
For years 6–10: In order to receive the Smart Warranty plus for the
full 10 years, the PV system must also be registered in the KOSTAL
Solar Portal.
