Used carbon steel jacketed paddle type mixer by Kates (PL) type 2M1.6.
Total volume 1700 l, working volume about 1600 l. Mixing chamber is
designed for work on pressure up to 0.14 bar in working temperature
range from 5 - 40 C. Mixer has mixing shaft with 6 paddles and two
rods working close do front walls. Shaft is driven by el. motor 55 kW,
1483 rpm in Ex design, through gearbox with reduction i = 72.71, what
gives working rotation of shaft up to 20.39 rpm. Mixing chamber is
covered with carbon steel cooling jacket with volume 75 l. Working
pressure on jacket up to 0.5 bar at temperature in range from 5 up to
40 C. Mixer has top inspection manway with bolted lid and diameter 500
mm. Central bottom discharge with pneumatically operated valve. Mixer
is mounted on carbon steel supporting construction. Machine is able to
work as Ex II3GcIIA T3 /ATEX. Mixer is equipped with stainless steel
electric control panel. Technical documentation included.
