ABB 2-Station Welding Robot Cell
You are bidding on a professional, fully functional 2-station robot
welding cell for continuous industrial use.
The system is ideal for automated and highly efficient MIG/MAG welding
from small to large series (e.g. in automotive or mechanical
engineering).
Thanks to the clever two-station principle (shuttle table/parallel
stations), the operator can safely insert new components or remove
finished workpieces on one side, while the robot welds productively on
the other side.
Plant Components
Industrial Robots & Control (ABB):
- Robot control: Reliable and robust ABB S4 / S4C generation
- Programming handset: Original ABB Teach Pendant with joystick for
precise teaching (teaching) of welding paths.
- Additional axes: Both stations have synchronized, motorized rotary
axes (nameplate: ABB / ELMO, type: PS 60/4-50-P-LSS-3985) for optimal
positioning of the workpiece in the tray process.
2. Welding technology (Carl Cloos Schweißtechnik GmbH):
- Welding power source: Cloos GLC 503 QUINTO (powerful 500A MIG/MAG
system)
- Cooling: Integrated liquid cooling (water cooling) for maximum
burner head duty cycle.
- Accessories: 2x professional WDI ECORACK large-container wire drums
on rolling chassis including robust wire guide hoses to the robot.
Plant Control & Safety:
- Control unit (HMI): Modernized Siemens SIMATIC HMI touch panel for
easy control of the entire system, quantity control and error
evaluation.
- Safety: Complete, closed protective cabin (privacy screens against
UV radiation and welding spatter) including integrated suction device
(hose package on the robot arm).
- Inspection: The system was in industrial use until recently
(certified for well-known automotive suppliers, among others) and has
a valid DGUV Regulation 3 inspection sticker.
